Provider Networks
Both Aetna and UnitedHealthcare offer large, national provider networks. It is a good idea to think about the care you and your family may need in 2018 and consider the following:
  • Do you live in a preferred carrier state where your contributions might be lower with the preferred carrier?
  • Do the doctors and facilities you currently use belong to the Aetna or UnitedHealthcare network?
  • If you will need more or different care in 2018, which carrier offers the network providers that best meet your needs?
To review the Aetna and UnitedHealthcare provider networks, see "Choosing a Carrier".
If you are enrolled in Plan HRA or Plan HSA with Aetna or UnitedHealthcare, you can also use Castlight to locate and compare doctors, hospitals or other providers in the Aetna or UnitedHealthcare networks.
